This is as basic and cheap as they come ... They have finally broken the $1000 price point for a basic good 1080p. I have an old NEC LT-150 that I bought almost 10 years ago for right around $1000 and it'll do 1024x768, 4:3 aspect ratio. Now you can get 1080p for $999 - wow. I'm so tempted. It's a single DLP so it still has the rainbow effect and it doesn't have tilt and shift options to allow for a wider setup. But for this cheap -- I can deal with those to short comings ...
